Choose your animal to mount

Ive had students that just want to learn a specific animal or bird without having to take the entire course. So now we are offering a program that allows you to choose exactly what you want to mount, without having to go through a complete program. This not only saves you time, but money! An average deer mount costs around $400.00, to $600.00, now you can take a short course and learn to mount your own deer for as little as $700.00. Then you can mount deer for hobby, or as a professional taxidermist for many years to come.

In addition to our traditional style taxidermy training we now are offering:

With paid tuition you will receive a tool kit designed for the individual course you have selected~which is yours to keep.

Training manuals, endless referance material and more; which are all part of the course.

All tuition must be paid either on or prior to the start date of course.

You may hold a position in a course by either paying a deposit of $500.00, or paying the full tuition amount per course. Classes do fill up very quick due to small class sizes and price, so reserve your position soon!

You MUST email us to recieve a student packet/enrollment form. All packets are sent out once a week. If you have requested a packet and have not recieved one yet, please call or email.

With the student enrollment form you will receive a Prospective Student Packet. In this packet you will get very detailed information about the school. Fill out the form(s) and send them back to the academy.

We look forward to meeting you and teaching you everything there is to know about the taxidermy profession.

There is no limit to what you can mount here. You can take individual courses on European and Antler mts, Birds, Fish, Mammals, and Shoulder Mounts. The MINI course will consist of ONE (1) animal of your choice. This is done by appointment only and can take from 1 to 2 weeks. We do this on YOUR time, you can choose evenings, weekends, during the week, what ever works best for YOU! Below will be list of common animals to mount. It is by no means a limit. We recommend you bring your animal with you as long as it has been legally harvested and if needed, and has the harvest tags properly attatched. If you want to mount a certain critter and dont have it, we can usually get it. If you have any questions about the new MINI courses, please contact us by phone or email.

This is just a very short list of possibilties that you have the option of mounting in the MINI courses. The cost listed covers eyes, form, supplies, specimens are extra. These courses limit you to learning ONLY how to mount that individual animal you have chosen. If you would like to learn how to mount multiple animals and learn the business aspects of taxidermy, we recommend that you choose our 2, 4, 6, or 8 week program.
